摘　　要：英语词语是一种复杂的言语系统,由音素、词素、义素等各种言语成分按音系、词法、语义等多重的层次结构关系构成,受上下文、情景、社会文化等多重的语境因素制约并在语境中执行句法、语义、语用等多重的功能,体现为不断的运用和演变过程,并呈现出辩证关联性、整体性、开放性、动态性等各种系统特性。因此,英语词语分析应兼顾其总体及其内外共时和历时的各个方面和各种关系,采用"放眼总体、考察语境、分析结构、透视过程"的系统分析模式。An English word is a component system of discourse, being itself composed ofphon many other verbal constituents with a correspondingly multiple structure,being affected by and performing syntactic,semantic, pragmatic and other functions in various verbal,situational,and socio-cultural contexts,exhibiting itself as a process of utilization and variation, and possessing such systemic properties as dialectical interconnectedness,integrity,opermess and dynamicity,and that the analysis of an English word should therefore involve both its totality and its contextual and internal, synchronic and diachronic aspects and relations,following the systemic scheme oF＇totality--context--structure--process＂.
