摘　　要：梁实秋认为,文学超越于一切时代、一切人群、一切人类活动,它是一个独立自足的人类生活领域。梁实秋的文学独立观不同于现代流行的纯艺术论,梁实秋更多地将文学进行人性的界定而非审美的界定,因而对纯艺术论又多有批评。在现代中国,救亡图存压倒一切,梁实秋倡导文学独立观,强调文学对于人性的修复功能,自然不合时宜,但若从中国现代文化建设的整体来看、从文学的发展规律与发展远景来看,则又有其存在的合法性依据。Liang Shiqiu believes that literature is a self-contained area of human＇s life which is beyond all times,all people and all human activities as well.Liang Shiqiu＇s concept is different from modern literature which is popular nowadays.For he made the literature definition in human-oriented aspect rather than aesthetic.Therefore,he criticized the theory of pure literature.As we know,in modern society,China puts saving the nation from subjugation and ensuring its survival into the first agenda.For this reason,Liang Shiqiu＇s view is for advocating the concept of literary independence,emphasizing the literature for their amendment of human nature is not suitable.However,if we view the construction from modern Chinese culture as a whole,it has its legitimacy basis.
