摘  要:目的 探讨长期低剂量电离辐射条件下,补充大剂量维生素E(VE)能否防护电离辐射损伤。方法 选用SD雄性大鼠40只,平均体重110 g,随机分为4 组,每组10 只:(1) 照射并补充VE(R+VE);(2) 单纯照射(R);(3) 不照射补充VE(VE);(4) 不照射对照(NR)。1、2 组为照射组,3、4 组为不照射组;1、3 组每只鼠每日补给VE60~120 m g。照射源为60 Co;剂量率为4.86×10- 2Gy/h,2 h/d,5 d/周;累积剂量为3.69 Gy。结果 照射后大鼠体重增长低于不照射动物,而补充VE后只在实验初和终期增长缓慢。受照射动物的白细胞、淋巴细胞计数及血红蛋白含量较不照射动物低;但补充VE的动物,照射与不照射动物间无显著性差异。照射后动物全血谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶及超氧化物歧化酶活力均增高,但补充VE者却低于未补充VE者。结论 补充大剂量VE动物对长期小剂量电离辐射引起的生长缓慢,白细胞、淋巴细胞计数及血红蛋白含量减少有一定防护作用,但对体内清除自由基的一些酶活力却有抑制作用。Objective To study whether there exists protective effect of vitamin E(VE) on long term low dose irradiation.Methods Low dose γ irradiation was given using a 60 Co radiant at a dose rate of 4 86×10 -2 Gy/h and with a total dose of 3 69 Gy(2 h/d,5 d/week). Male SD rats(mean wieght 110 g) were radomly divided into 4 groups with each 10 rats: 1. Irradiation with VE supplementation(R+VE),2. Irradiation(R),3. Non irradiation with VE supplementation(VE), 4. Non irradiation(NR). The VE supplementation for each rat was from 60 to 120 mg per day. Results After irradiation the rats showed slowing in body weight gain, and the number of leukocytes and lymphocytes and the content of hemoglobin all decreased, but with VE supplementation, no significant differences were found between those with or without irradiation groups. During the end of experiment the activities of GSHPx and SOD were both increased in the irradiatied animals, but they were lower in those groups with VE supplementation.Conclusions The results suggest that large dose VE supplementation exhibits a definite protection against growth reduction and decrease of leukocytes and lymphocytes counts and hemo globin content induced by long term low dose irradiation. However with large dose of VE, the activities of some enzymes related to the scavenge of free radicals, were shown to have inhibited. Therefore, the dosage of supplementation should be appropriate.
