摘　　要：在作者清样校对环节上,科技期刊编辑应有所作为:充当监督并指导作者校对清样的角色;向作者强调作者校对的重要作用,宣传校对的基本方法,并针对个稿给出校对意见;本着服务于作者的态度为作者提供合适的校样条件;认真核实作者反馈的校样,发现问题后及时与作者沟通;向作者普及科技期刊编排标准化和规范化知识。Periodical editors should play a supervision and direction role in author-proofreading, including informing proofreading methods and the significance of author-proofreading to authors, providing particular proofreading suggestions and proofs to individual authors in order to serve them wholeheartedly. Moreover, the returned proofs should be checked seriously. Periodical editors should communicate with authors in time once finding any questions in proofs, and popularize periodical standardization and normalization to them.
