Objective To investigate the occurrence of arrhythmias and the heart rate variability(HRV) in Chinese Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Patients, and to explore the balance of autonomic nervous function. Methods 12 lead 24h ambulatory electrocardiography were performed in 38 Chinese Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Patients, and 38 healthy controls. We observed arrhythmias in 24h and analyzed 24h time-domain HRV.Results Most of time-domain decreased in group Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Patients, comparedwith the control group(P0.05),the occurrence of arrhythmias in Breast Cancer Chemotherapy groups is increase significantly compare with control group(P0.05).Conclusions The Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Patients, with arrhythmias may be related with balance reduction of autonomic nervous function, the decrease the indexes of HRV and then relieve the vagus nervous tension and increase the sympathetic nervous tension, which could bring high risk of cardiogenic sudden death and malignant arrhythmia. These influences were more obvious in patients with the Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Patients. Therefore,we should pay more attention to these affects and treat patients effectively.
