摘　　要：该文描述了Dialog联机检索系统和网络检索途径的特点,陈述了科技查新和一般性检索的相似与不同.从Dialog系统应用在科技查新工作中进行讨论,指出最有效的途径完成科技查新工作.In this paper,the features of Dialog online retrieval system and Internet retrieval method are described.The similarities and differences between Sci-technique novelty retrieval and general information retrieval are stated.The application of Dialog system in searching and consultation is discussed.It points that the efficient way of Sci-technique novelty searching process is to combine the two ways of information retrieval.
