摘　　要："白"以"日光"为本义,从商代就开始抽象为颜色词,并逐渐成了白系颜色词的上位词,又由于通感隐喻的关系,"白"还产生了许多颜色文化含义,因此也是汉民族五正色之一。＂Sunlight＂is the original meaning of ＂white＂.Since the Shang Dynasty,it started to change into color term,and became the hypernym of this family gradually.Due to synaesthetic metaphor,＂white＂produces some particular cultural meanings,so that it is also one of five major colors in Chinese culture.
