摘　　要：针对丝蒂薇.斯密斯的诗歌《不是在挥手而是在没顶》的后现代主义研究空间,结合后现代主义的诗歌理论,采用文献综述与文学批评的方法,从人物形象、诗歌意义的多解性和诗歌的语言游戏等方面进一步阐述了诗歌的不确定性。斯密斯以不定的、开敞的诗歌形态和独特的话语模式催生出主流社会之外的鲜活的生命。她的诗风不仅消解了传统单一的诗歌风格,还预示了英国诗歌中的后现代主义诗歌的走向。In view of the inadequate study of post-modernist features in Stevie Smiths’ poem—Not Waving but Drowning,based on post-modernist poetic theory,literature review and literary criticism were adopted to further elaborate on the uncertainty in the poem：the uncertainty of characters,multi-interpretation of poetic meaning and the language games.Smiths’ uncertain,open poetic spirit and unique mode of discourse give birth to a fresh life outside the mainstream society.Her poems deconstruct the traditional single style and foretell the trend of post-modernism in English poetry.
