In this paper,a large group of 30.944 million cherry valley ducks were bred and managed in the same way in 8 540 standardized duck sheds in order to study metabolizable energy requirements and factorial model in different seasons and months. The results indicated that metabolizable energy maintenance requirements were 455.1、305.5、342.8、541.7 kJ/kgW0.75 in spring, summer, autumn, winter, respectively. The requirements of metabolizable energy on weight gain were 16.97、19.86、19.65、15.95 MJ/kgBGW.For different months, the metabolizable energy maintenance requirements were lowest in August and highest in May;while the requirements on weight gain were clashing. The factorial models of metabolizable energy maintenance requirements in different seasons of cherry valley ducks were predicted as follows,MER=16.97BGW + 0.455W0.75 in spring,MER=19.86BGW +0.305W^0.75 in summer,MER=19.65BGW +0.343W^0.75 in autumn, and MER=15.95BGW + 0.542W0.75 in winter.MER,BGW and W^0.75 in these equations indicated metabolizable energy requirements of cherry valley ducks(MJ/d),live weight gain(kg/d) and metabolic body weight(kg).
