摘　　要：学科馆员是具有某种学科背景同时受到过文献情报专业训练,向特定学科领域的用户提供深层次、个性化信息获取与利用服务的复合型专业人才,在满足教学与科研的同时发挥自身的优势,立足高校,面向社会,这是摆在当前高校图书馆工作者面前的一个值得探讨的问题;学科馆员要"以服务为宗旨",不断提升服务社会的水平,深化社会服务的内涵,架起高校与社会之间的时代桥梁。A subject librarian is a compound professional which has literature background and also had been professionally trained to provide users of specific subject areas with services of access to and use of depth, personalized information. In meeting the teaching and scientific research, playing to their strengths at the same time, based at u- niversities, facing to the society, which is the current question placed in front of workers in a university library worthy of been discussioned; subject Librarians should stick level of service for the community, to deepen the content niversity and the community. to ＂service for the purpose＂, and constantly improve the of social services, set up the times＇ bridge between the university and the community.
