摘　　要：新建本科院校在历经10余年发展后,已经逐步完成了办学定位、发展环境、发展空间的探索。新建本科院校产生和发展的条件决定了其坚持地方性的必然选择。从发展环境看,新建本科院校不仅面临着良好的发展机遇,也面临着物质环境困境、内部要素不健全、竞争力弱小等挑战。但随着新建本科院校发展的不断探索,在经历了起步期、成长期发展阶段后,将逐步在内涵建设、学科基础、专业方向等方面走向成熟期,从而形成办学优势,凸显办学特色,提升核心竞争力。With their growth of more than ten years, newly-established universities have already determined the school-running orientation,development environment and space. Owing to their generation and development conditions,localization is their inevitable choice. In terms of development circumstances,newly-established universities face good opportunities as well as challenges of deficient supplies, imperfect management and weak competitiveness. Having gone through stages of start and growth, they will step into the stage of maturity in the aspects of management, discipline base and orientation. Therefore, the advantages and characteristics of school running could be highlighted, and the core competitive power could be elevated ultimately.
