摘　　要：云计算是在网格计算的基础上发展而来的计算模型,是分布式计算、并行计算和网格计算的发展。介绍了云计算运用于数据库管理系统在现代化高校中的实现,针对传统的数据库管理系统存在的一些盲点,提出了云数据库管理系统的解决方案,指出了云数据库管理系统的广阔发展前景。Cloud computing is a computational model developed from grid computing and is the development of distributed computing,parallel computing and grid computing.Achievement of cloud computing in database management system of colleges and universities is introduced in this paper.According to the scotomata of traditional database management system,Cloud DBMS（Cloud database management system）is proposed.And the vast potential for future development of Cloud DBMS is also elaborated.
