古代中国的运河交通与城市发展的关系——以唐代汴河为中心

摘　　要：唐代汴河改善了沿线城市的交通环境,促进了传统城市的新发展,同时催生了一些新兴城市,大大地推动了城市商业的繁荣、经济的发展和政治地位的提高,致使黄淮之间形成了一个以汴河为轴心的贸易关系密切的城市带。这一过程中,汴河、交通、商业、城市之间构成了同步运动,汴河交通成为城市发展的重要条件。In the Tang Dynasty,the Bianhe River improved the traffic environment of along-line cities,promoted new development of traditional cities,brought about some new cities,drove greatly the city prosperity in commerce,and enhanced their political status,which led to a city belt with close trade relation taking the Bianhe as the core between the Yellow river and the Huaihe River.During the course,the transport of the Bianhe became a most important factor in the city development.
