摘　　要：改革开放以来,经济飞跃发展的南方小镇,人民生活水平逐年提高,对精神生活也提出了更高的要求。本文通过对北滘文化中心的建筑设计,由此引发对设计本质的理解,今天的建筑界,越来越多的建筑师意识到,传承文化的社会责任与建筑设计之间存在着许多紧密的关系,这是新一代建筑师的责任和义务。After reformation and opening up, people improve both their living standard and spiritual life in the south- ern town which is rapid developing. This article will arouse the understanding of the nature of design through the de- sign of Beijiao Culture Center. Nowadays, more and more architect are aware of that are closely interconnected be- tween architectural design and the social responsibility of culture spreading. This is the responsibility and obligation of the new generation architect.
