摘　　要：本质安全是指通过技术改造和创新、保证设备在任何情况下都不能引起安全事故。介绍了国内翻车机的分类和发展的几个阶段。阐述了本质安全的理念。介绍了建设本质安全型翻车机系统的经验,旨在推进本质安全型设备在现代化港口中的应用。The essencial safety means that the equipment would not appears accident by measures of technical reform and innovation.This paper introduces the classification and several periods of development.It states the ideal of essential safety.Also it introduces experience of building car dumper with safety essence,which aims at promoting the application of equipment with safety essence in the modern ports.
