摘　　要：On June 9, 2011, the award ceremony of the Second ＂Yeong Guan Cup＂ and the launch ceremony for the Third ＂Yeong Guan Cup＂ Casting Process Design Competition for Chinese University Students were held concurrently at the Dalian University of Technology. The Second ＂Yeong Guan Cup＂ Casting Process Design Competition for Chinese University Students was jointly sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （CMES）, the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society （FICMES）, the Higher Education Guiding Committee for Mechanical Discipline under the Ministry of Education, the Education Association of China Machinery Industry, and the Productivity Promotion Centre of the Foundry Industry of China.
