摘　　要：沈从文是我国现代文学史上著名的乡土小说作家,由于其湘西小说的独特风格而在中国文坛上享有"乡土文学之父"的美誉。他的家乡湖南凤凰县,那里有着浓厚的乡土气息和淳朴的民风,也有着原始的自然美和健全的人性美,所以对湘西这种弥漫着浓郁牧歌情调的边地自然生活的着意渲染,以及对蕴含着和平处世精神的边地自然人生观的深刻揭示,使他走上了弘扬湘西完美人性的创作道路。SHEN Cong-wen, a famous local writer in modern literary history, is known as ＂father of local literature＂ due to the unique features in his Xiangxi novels. There is intense local color, folk tradition,as well as primitive natural beauty and complete humanity, in his homeland,the Phoenix County in Hunan province. The description of the mood of pastoral life implies his idea of harmony and view of natural life.
