摘　　要：菲利普.罗斯虽已进入人生晚年,但还未有就此搁笔的迹象。追踪一个仍然健在且创作不已的当代老年作家的创作足迹,学者们总是想对其一生创作的阶段性做一个定论式的评述。但事与愿违,罗斯晚年的创作速度令读者目不暇接,不断地冲破并修正国内外学者有限的学术判断视野,让他们在矛盾中不得不重新调整原有的评价坐标体系,与罗斯的创作一起在不断的自我否定中提升。lific old writer, Being in his old age, Philip Roth has not stopped his writing. Tracing the writing career of the proscholars are liable to make a final verdict on his writing career. But things do not turn out as they wish. Roth＇ s later works are kind of rich and dazzling, which constantly breaks scholars＇ criticizing discipline and makes them revise former evaluation in the renewing state of paradox and self-denial.
