对《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)“世界地区表”的一些看法

摘　　要：《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)"世界地区表"(以下简称"5版世地表")对类目进行了全面、系统的增补和修订,使其在科学性和实用性方面有了进一步的提高。但客观地说,修订后的"5版世地表"仍存在着某些类目设置不够科学、规范等明显疏失,如有些国家的上位类地区归属不够周延、"196.1"至"196.8"的类名不够规范、地区类名表达不够充分、"512俄罗斯及苏联"类目的注释不够准确、"18海洋"类目设置不够完善等,尚有待于再版修订时加以改进和完善。Global Areas Table of Chinese Library Classification（5th edition） carries on a comprehensive and systematic revision and supplement for categories so that the Global Areas Table may have the further improvement.But the revised edition still has some defects in category setting,such as the adscription of upper class of some countries is not comprehensive,class names from ＂196.1＂ to ＂196.8＂ are nonstandard,class names of areas are not clearly stated,the note of ＂512 Russia and USSR＂ is not exact,and the category setting of ＂18 Ocean＂ is not complete,all of which need to be further improved and revised until the next publication.
