摘 要:以马克思实践唯物主义思想指导下的语言哲学观,分析了结构主义和转换生成语法等语言学理论在解释语言习得现象上所面临的困境,指出其根本原因是它们所遵循的语言哲学观背离了实践唯物主义思想。相反,社会语言学和认知语言学理论遵循了实践的语言哲学观,因而不仅能更好地定义语言知识的构成,描述语言使用,解释语言习得机制,而且也能更好地指导应用语言学及其他相关领域的研究,同时证明了实践唯物主义哲学对语言学研究及其应用的宏观指导作用。Under the guidance of the Marxist Practical Materialism,this article scrutinizes some current linguistic theories and their application.The analysis shows that some linguistic approaches like the Structuralism and the Generative Grammar are inadequate in explaining the issues of language acquisition.The underlying cause of their problem is argued to be their language philosophy which contradicts the Marxist ideology.In contrast,some other linguistic approaches such as the Sociolinguistics and the Cognitive Linguistics adopt a practice-based view of language and are therefore adept at defining linguistic knowledge,describing language use,explaining language acquisition and also inspiring applied linguistic studies.This investigation has verified the significance of the Marxist philosophy in guiding linguist studies and their application.
