摘　　要：全国现有新建本科院校约200所，已成为我国高等教育的重要组成部分。作为正在崛起的新生力量，新建本科院校正面临着发展的机遇，又面临着严峻的挑战。这类高校必须解放思想，站在国家和地方区域经济社会发展对未来人才需求的高度，正确审视自身办学指导思想和办学定位，加强内涵建设，提高应用型人才培养质量，力争在短时期内建设成为合格的、具有鲜明特色和一定竞争能力的本科院校。Nowadays, there are approximately 200 newly established undergraduate universities, which have been an important component of higher education in our country. As a new force, these universities are facing opportunities as well as challenges, so they must free their mind, survey their guiding ideology and orientation for running schools correctly, strengthen the connotation construction and improve the training quality of applied tal- ents. They should strive to make themselves eligible, with special characteristics and competitive in a short time.
