摘　　要："管约论"是原则与参数理论的早期发展阶段,用来探寻人类语言的普遍语法。原则与参数理论的形成是生成语法从具体语言规则系统的研究转向人类语言普遍语法原则系统的研究的开始。"管约论"在生成语法的研究中发展的较为成熟,是了解原则与参数理论进一步发展的基础。GB Theory（ Government and Binding Theory） is the early stage of Principles and Parameters Theory, which is used to inquire into Universal Grammar of human languages. It is the beginning of the research changing from the con- crete language rule systems to human being＇s language universal grammar principle system. GB Theory is a relatively mature theory in generative grammar, which is the basis to understand further development of Principles and Parameters Theory.
