摘　　要：本文主要介绍清末湖北绅士在近代文化教育体制兴起的同时,适应时代的发展,创办各类新式学堂,推动了湖北近代教育的发展和社会变迁。The gentry class in Hubei Province followed the development of the time at the beginning of modern culture and education system,set up many new schools,which promoted Hubei modern education development and social change.
