摘　　要：文章对太原市创建防震减灾示范社区的意义、创建工作步骤及已取得的成就进行了详细的阐述,说明创建规范的示范社区能提高公众的防震减灾意识、震时自救互救的能力,有助于减轻地震灾害损失。The significance of establishing earthquake prevention and disaster reduction demonstration community in Taiyuan city, the steps of establishment and the achievement are introduced in detail in this paper. It concludes that the establishment of standard demonstration community can enhance the consciousness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction and the abilities of self-save and mutual save of the public, which may help to mitigate earthquake disaster and loss.
