摘　　要：虚拟化技术为计算资源池化提供了实现的可能,但是当前市场上存在的产品自成体系,严重阻碍了云计算平台的可管理性和互操作性的发展,封装和部署格式的标准化势在必行。首先介绍了虚拟器件概念的产生背景并分析了它的优劣势。进而详细介绍了虚拟器件的具体实现——OVF协议,阐述了OVF协议的组成。最后,评估了OVF协议的应用前景,对它的未来发展方向进行了展望。Virtualization makes computing resource pooling possible. However,the existing virtualization products do not have common interface and cann＇t be applied on unified platform, which seriously hinders management and interoperability. Therefore, standardization of package and deployment format is imperative. The concept and background of virtual appliance are described in this paper firstly. Furthermore, OVF is elaborated as implementation scheme of virtual appliance. Finally, the future application and development of OVF are prospected
