摘　　要：MARC著录意识主要体现在检索意识、整体意识、规范意识、维护意识4个方面。编目员可以采用提取文献题名关键词、复合主题词轮排、多学科文献多重标引、建立题名等方法,强化MARC字段的检索功能;也可以利用字段、代码之间的内在逻辑关系,科学著录文献,通过905字段对有关MARC记录作关联性技术处理,从而提高MARC著录意识。Awareness of description in MARC is mainly reflected in four aspects： retrieval awareness, wholeness awareness, standardization awareness and maintenance awareness. Catalogers could strengthen the retrieval function of MARC fields through extracting key words of document titles, permuting compound keywords, multi-indexing multi-subject documents, establishing titles. Catalogers could use the internal logical relationship between fields and codes, catalogue documents scientifically, make relative technical disposal to MARC records through 905 field, in order to enhance the retrieval awareness of description in MARC.
