近代苏商与清末民初的出版事业

摘　　要：清末民初,以张謇、盛宣怀、荣德生为代表的近代苏商,积极参与和推进近代中国的出版事业,他们试图通过个人的尝试和努力,发挥出版事业辅助教育和传承文化的社会功能,从而推动近代中国社会的文明进步。由于时代发展的制约和个人力量的局限,近代苏商在其出版事业的实践中,既显示了鲜明的特色,又表现出一些缺憾。During the course of later Qing Dynasty and earlier Republic of China, some modern merchants of Jiangsu province, represented by ZhangJian, RongDeSheng, ShengXuanHuai, took active part in the modernization of publication in China. Through hard effort, they made progress in education and cultural he ritage. Due to the limitation of the era and individual, some modern colors and some deficiencies as well were showed in their publication cause.
