摘　　要：二十年的挣扎,几经易主,中国第一家股份制商业银行——深发展的名字终将消失在平安集团的帝国中。The changes at Shenzhen Development Bank's main office have not been very big;the same mountains stand outside the windows,the same furnishings decorate the rooms.'Except for the picture of my three children hanging on the wall,I haven't changed a thing,' says Richard Jackson while sitting in the very seat Frank Newman,former bank chairman and CEO.sat in a year ago. Frank Newman was a central figure during the time period where Newbridge Captial(000001.SZ) had management control of Shenzhen Development Bank(May 2004- May 2010). By July 28th 2011,the merger between Shenzhen Development Bank and Ping An Insurance's banking unit had reached completion.Over the past several years the shares of Shenzhen Development Bank have changed hands several times;state-owned to foreign private equity to a domestic financial holding company.Richard Jackson told China Entrepreneur.'Ping An has a long term strategic plan which will be of great importance for Shenzhen Development Bank's development.'
