摘　　要：说到意大利美声歌剧，总要提到三位代表人物：罗西尼、多尼采第、贝利尼，他们几乎是同时代人。罗西尼以喜歌剧闻名，多尼采第“悲喜交加”，悲喜剧都有经典之作，而贝利尼则以正歌剧名垂乐史，其代表作就是《诺尔玛》。OUTLINE / Medea is the most successful work among Luigi Cherubini's thirty operas.Medea tells the story of how Jason forsook Medea's love,and how she turned love to hate and revenge. The entire opera is portrayed from the perspective of the title role.One can find quite a few similarities in the story of Medea and Bellini's Norma.And the popularity of hoth operas had a lot to do with Maria Callas.
