摘　　要：英雄精神是各时代作者创作的情感意蕴要素。索尔.贝娄的早期作品《雨王汉德森》通过汉德森的非洲寻找精神家园之旅,突出地展现了贝娄的英雄情结。贝娄始终关注人的异化——即人被周围的环境所左右、迷失自我身份的问题。汉德森由贪图享乐的"猪"向充满勇气的"狮"的转变,寄托了贝娄对英雄精神回归的期望,他期待每个人都转变为有意识的斗士,由利己变为利他。Heroism is the emotional element that leads to the creation of writers in different periods.Through Henderson＇s African journey of pursuing the spiritual home in Bellow＇s early work Henderson,Bellow shows his complex for heroism.Bellow,as a contemporary writer,always concerns himself with dissimilation,that is,human beings are under the control of surroundings and lose their own identity.The transformation of Henderson from a yonkyang pig into a courageous lion embraces the expectation to the setback of heroism.Bellow hopes that everyone can be a conscious fighter to be more selfless and think more about the others.
