摘　　要：常熟硕儒蒋廷锡贯通经学,精熟舆地,于《尚书》地理之学深有研究,在充分总结前人研究的基础上,撰成《尚书》地理研究开拓性著作《尚书地理今释》。蒋氏综合运用博征文献、援经证经、详度地势等多种研究方法,对《尚书》地理所涉及的同名异地、记载抵牾等问题进行合理深入的考辨推断,对蔡沈旧传讹误进行系统而彻底的梳理厘正。该书丛集前人众说,又多有蒋氏见解,体现了蒋氏深厚的文献功底和超卓的考据水准。Jiang Ting-xi,the great master of Jiangsu province in Qing Dynasty, was well versed in The Six Classics of Confucianism, the ancient geography, and especially in the research of shangshu. On the basis of summarizing the huge result of previous studies, Jiang Ting-xi completed the important works named shangshudilijinshi reflecting a deep foundation and superior research level. In this book, for handling all kinds Geographical problems about Shangshu, Jiang Ting-xi integrated use of documents, confirmed the truth of real means of Classics through various detail research methods such as cite Classics, degree of terrain.
