摘　　要：针对研究中经常遇到的波束形成技术容易引起混淆这一问题,分析了智能天线和MIMO这两种多天线系统中波束形成的原理,辨析了各自的涵义,阐明了两种波束形成技术之间的区别与联系。The term of beamforming in the multiple antennas systems often causes confusion. Aiming at this, the principles of the beamforming in smart antenna system and multiple input multiple output（MIMO） system is summarized. The meanings of two kinds of beamforming are discriminated. And the difference and relation between these two kinds of beamforming are clarified too.
