摘　　要：没有一个适合的信息服务平台一直是制约高校学科信息服务发展的瓶颈所在。基于机构典藏平台的学科信息服务在信息资源类型、信息传播载体、信息服务渠道、信息服务流程等方面有别于传统信息服务,其在信息服务平台、信息服务范围、信息服务内容、信息资源的整合能力等方面的优势,使其在网络环境下具有广阔的发展空间。None of a suitable information service platform is one of the bottlenecks to restrict the development of information services in universities and colleges.The subject information service based on institutional repositories is different from the traditional services in resource type,communication media,service channel,service process and so on,which has advantages in platform,range,contents of information service as well as integrated ability,which makes it a vast improvement for subject services.
