从《紫色》看沃克对传统男性霸权气质的颠覆与理想男性形象的重构

摘　　要：《紫色》是美国黑人女作家艾丽思.沃克的代表作,小说中体现的妇女主义思想等主题得到学界广泛讨论。反观男性视角,从传统上主流社会一贯对男性气质的高扬与对女性气质的扭曲与贬抑入手,结合R.W.康奈尔的"男性气质论"进行分析,探讨艾丽思.沃克如何通过《紫色》颠覆西方传统的男性支配性气质,重构她心目中理想的男性形象。揭示了小说中众多男性人物如某某先生、哈泼等人也是父权家长制的受害者。The Color Purple is Alice Walker＇s masterpiece.Womanism revealed in the novel has been well explored.This article,viewed from male＇s perspective,analyzes the consistent tradition of the mainstream society uplifting masculinity and belittling feminity in the light of R.W.Connell＇s concept of masculinity,and explores how Alice Walker subverts western traditional male dominating disposition and reconstructs her ideal male image.The article holds that the male characters,such as Mr.xx and Harpo,are themselves victims of patriarchy.
