摘　　要：海姆斯20世纪70年代提出了交际能力学说,后分别得到了卡纳尔和斯温以及巴奇曼的丰富和发展,对语言教学和测试的改革和发展产生了深远影响。雅思语言测试系统吸取了交际能力学说成果,彰显交际语言测试的特点,是检测考生语言交际能力的有效测试模式。为了取得理想的雅思考试成绩,考生应了解雅思语言测试系统的特点,并在备考中采用相应的应试策略。Theory of Communicative Competence proposed by Hymes in 1970s,extended and developed respectively by Canale,Swain and Bachman,which has greatly influenced language teaching and testing.IELTS is such a product which is based on the achievement of the theory,characterized by the communicative language testing model and focused on testing the examinees＇ communicative language ability.In order to acquire satisfactory scores,it is necessary for the examinees to understand features of IELTS and adopt corresponding strategies for the test preparation.
