南方科技大学校长遴选机制刍议

摘　　要：南方科技大学的校长遴选工作具有以下特点:在遴选理念层面上,以学术性目标为主导;在遴选操作层面上,以政府为主导;在遴选制度层面上,坚持移植与本土相统一。南方科技大学校长遴选工作还存在着遴选机构不独立、遴选条件不具体、遴选程序不规范等问题。而遴选委员会依法组建、独立自主工作是大学校长遴选制度常态化、规范化的保证。本次校长遴选只可看做是我国大学校长选任制度的一次有益的尝试和改良,并未深入涉及大学校长遴选的理念和制度。Zhu Qingshi is the first university president through the way of liberal selection,which might be considered as the reformation of president selection mechanism in China.The features of this election are as follows： at the conceptual level,it＇s academic-oriented;at the operational level,it＇s governmental-oriented;at the institutional level,it insists on the unity of transplantation and localization.While there are some problems in this so-called liberal selection,such as lack of independence of selection organization,non-specific conditions in selection,informality of selecting procedure.So,even though this president selection of Southern University of Technology can be viewed as an attempt and reformation of university president selection mechanism in China,it＇s still at the operational level without touching profoundly upon the conceptual and institutional level.
