摘　　要：M.R.安纳德长篇小说的贱民形象分为三种,第一种是麻木贱民,第二种是觉醒中的贱民,第三种是反抗的贱民。勾勒出一幅现代印度社会的贱民群像,表现了印度贱民由麻木到觉醒到反抗的心理变化,从一个侧面反映了印度贱民运动的发展。M. R. Anand is a famous modem Indian-English Writer. Through the study of his novels, the author divides alt the untouchable characters into three kinds. He depicts a group of untouchables in Indian society during different periods, and at the same time, represents the development of the Movement of Dalit from the awakening to resistance of those untouchables.
