摘　　要：分析了图书馆经济效益和社会效益的内涵,认为图书馆应以社会效益为核心,不能"以经济效益为核心",因为它背离了图书馆的公益性,背离了市场经济的等价交换、公平竞争和知识产权等基本原则,在理论上是错误的,在实践上是不可行的。最终必然导致图书馆名存实亡。By analyzing the content of library economic returns and social benefits this paper thinks that library should be take social benefits as core and can not be take economic returns as core. Because it deviated from the library public welfare and de- parture from the basic principles of the equivalent exchange and fair competition of the market economy, and intellectual property rights , so as it is wrong in theory and is not feasible in practice that eventually will inevitably lead to library exists only in name but not in reality.
