摘　　要：本文研究上世纪80年代以来台湾戏剧从题材到理念的重要探索,并在多元文化视阈下着重考察多元文化引发的戏剧危机。无论是现实层面的两岸问题还是历史层面的文化寻根,台湾戏剧舞台都无法解答多元文化所带来的身份认同危机;台湾当代戏剧在理念和创作方式上借鉴欧美,不断创新,多元发展,但"理念"大于"作品"、写实主义作品匮乏的问题日趋严重。By reviewing the development of theatre in terms of subject matter and aesthetics in Taiwan,this paper tries to analyze the crisis facing contemporary Taiwan theatre as a consequence of the rise of multiculturalism.Contemporary Taiwan theatre is impotent in addressing the crisis of cultural identity either in the practical cross-Strait issues or in search of cultural roots.The current westernized innovation and diversified development in theory and methodology can lead only to precedence of conceptualization over theatrical engagement with social reality.
