摘　　要：19世纪英国社会的各个阶层参加到政治活动中,妇女亦是一个不可忽视的群体,尤其是中等阶级妇女因为优越的经济条件,较高的文化水平,自我意识的觉醒,开始思考作为一个群体的妇女的命运,并积极参与政治,围绕着选举权、参政权、法律公民权、受教育权等展开了艰辛、富有成效的努力。All of the British social classes participated in political activities in the 19th century,and so did women at that time.Amon them,the middle-class women,with their favorable economic conditions,higher cultural levels and awakened self-awareness,cannot be overlooked.They began to reflect on their fate as females and participate in politics.They made efforts to gain voting rights,suffrage,citizen rights and the rights of education.
