摘　　要：本文通过对美式家具脚部装饰元素的归类和分析，运用个案分析法和归纳法探寻出美式家具在脚部装饰中对欧洲以及东方家具设计的继承和发扬，并针对其脚部装饰元素的使用方法，找出美式家具的发展和演变特征。In this artical, the succession and promotion of European and Oriental fumithre designs by American furniture have been looked into through classification and analysis of the decorative leg patterns of American furniture and by means of individual case analysis and inductive method. And the characters of development and evolution of American furniture have been found out throuh their functions of leg patterns.
