摘　　要：考古发现离不开历史文献的指引和诠释,而历史文献也离不开考古发现的证明和补充。作为目前能见到的时间最早、内容稍多一点的古蜀史书《蜀王本纪》,是我们认识和诠释地下出土的古蜀信息的宝贵钥匙,同时,《蜀王本纪》也需要考古发现的证明与补充。Archaeological excavation often needs the direction of correct interpretation of historical literature.On the other hand,descriptions in historical literature also get verified and complemented by underground findings.As the only earliest book extant on the history of ancient Shu Kingdom with somewhat adequate materials for research,The Imperial Biographies of the Kings of Ancient Shu（Shu Wang Ben Ji） provides us with a key to understand the archaeological findings in the Shu area,and at the same time,the records in the book need the verification and complement of the archaeological excavations.
