Successful Launch of Commercial Application Test of CTV-VI Type Vinyl Acetate Catalyst

摘　　要：On April 11, 2011 the commercial scale application test of the CTV-VI type catalyst developed by the SINOPEC Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute (SPRI) was conducted at the No.2 vinyl acetate unit of the Shanghai Petrochemical Company, with the startup of the process unit realized successfully at the first attempt.TheOn April 11, 2011 the commercial scale application test of the CTV-VI type catalyst developed by the SINOPEC Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute （SPRI） was conducted at the No. 2 vinyl acetate unit of the Shanghai Petrochemical Company, with the startup of the process unit realized successfully at the first attempt. The proposal on conducting this project was approved in May 2010 and the project was undertaken jointly by SPRI, the Shanghai Petrochemical Company and the Shanghai Petrochemical Engineering Company.
