摘  要:Ti3SiC2是一种具有优良性能的可加工陶瓷材料。通过与第二相的复合,Ti3SiC2复合材料克服了单一材料的某些缺点,扩大了Ti3SiC2的应用领域。颗粒弥散增强Ti3SiC2复合材料,相对于Ti3SiC2单相材料,具有更高的硬度、耐磨性和强度,但是损失了部分可加工性与韧性。Ti3SiC2作为超硬复合材料的结合剂,克服了金属结合剂与陶瓷结合剂的缺点,而保留了各自的优点。这种超硬复合材料相对于传统超硬复合材料,具有独特的优势。Ti3SiC2/金属复合材料的硬度通常明显高于Ti3SiC2单相材料,可以在不明显降低金属导电性、导热性的基础上,提高金属材料的耐磨性。Ti3SiC2作为弱层与Al2O3形成的层状复合材料,可以有效抑制微裂纹扩展,从而获得具有极高韧性的层状陶瓷复合材料。Ti3SiC2 is a machinable ceramic with excellent properties.The properties of Ti3SiC2 composites are changed by secondary phases to overcome some weaknesses of pure Ti3SiC2.Thus the composites can be applied in more areas.Particle dispersion enhanced Ti3SiC2 composites have higher hardness,wear resistance,strength,but lower machinability and toughness compared with pure Ti3SiC2.Ti3SiC2 can be used as binder to connect superhard materials particles.The kinds of superhard composites have a unique advantage compared with the superhard composites with metals or ceramics as binders.Ti3SiC2 particles can be dispersed in continuous metal phases to obtain composites with obviously higher hardness.These composites can increase metals' abrasive resistance and do not decrease metals' electric and thermal conductivity obviously.Ti3SiC2 can be used as weak layers to make layered composites with Al2O3,which can effectively suppress the crack propagation.These layered ceramic composites have very high toughness.
