摘 要:聚合物淬火剂在环境保护、生产成本及应用等方面具有突出的优点。目前,工业上应用的聚合物淬火剂主要有PAG、PEO、PVP和ACR等,其结构和性能不同,因而应用场合不同。聚合物淬火剂的冷却机制与淬火油大致相同,其冷却速度介于水和油之间。聚合物淬火剂还有其独到之处,如特性温度较高,冷却过程中不出现膜沸腾期,从而改善了淬火剂对工件的润湿性和冷却的均匀性。此外,聚合物淬火剂的维护、防止污染和微生物滋生极为重要。Polymer quenchants have conspicuous advantages in environmental protection,production cost and application.The polymer quenchants adopted in industry at present are mainly PAG,PED,PVP and ACR,having different structures and different characteristics thereby different applications.The cooling mechanism of polymer quenchants is roughly the same as quenching oil,and their cooling rate lies between water and oil.Following features,such as higher characteristic temperature,no film boiling stage during the quenching and resulting improvements in wettability and cooling uniformity of workpiece in the quenchant,are peculiar to the polymer quenchant.Furthermore,maintenance,prevention from both pollution and microbe breeding are of the utmost importance for the polymer quenchants.
