摘　　要：城市轴线通常是指在城市中起空间结构驾驭作用的一种线形空间要素,本文通过阐述广州城市传统中轴线以及新中轴线的形成和发展,分析广州城市中轴线发展过程中存在的不足,并提出未来发展的规划设想。Urban axis is a linear space element playing a dominant role in a city＇ s spatial structure. Through discussing the formation and planning of Guangzhou＇ s traditional axis and the new one, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of Guangzhou axis and proposes plans for future development.
