摘　　要：卡文迪什实验室创立至今经历了从经典物理向现代物理演变的全过程,该实验室的研究方向也几经改变,但其在世界范围内的领先地位却始终没有动摇,这与卡文迪什实验室的领导者有着密不可分的关系.劳伦斯.布拉格作为历史发展中的实验室主任,因其出色的领导才能推动了卡文迪什实验室的发展,作出了堪比前任的成就,他的学术成就与人格魅力也被人们牢记.Cavendish Laboratory had been witnessing the great transformation from Classical Physics to Modern Physics took place since its establishment,with its research focus changed several times,yet its status as a global leader remains,an achievement for which the role of its leaders is highly relevant.Lawrence Bragg,in his days as the director of the Laboratory,has made important contributions to the development of the Laboratory with his exceptional leadership.Not only are his achievements as the director comparable to any of his predecessors,his scholarship and personality are also well remembered.
