摘　　要：阐述了《冶金工业主题词表》编制过程中的叙词分类原则，分析了典型的分类案例，得出如下结论：正确分类的前提是对《分类法》融会贯通；对工艺技术的准确把握对于分类至关重要；对于不甚熟悉的概念，需要参考有关工具书；分类是一个不断修正趋于完善的过程。In this paper, the principles of classification of Thesaurus for Metallurgical Industry are expounded. Typical classification cases are analyzed. Conclusions as follows are got： the premise of correct classification is comprehensive study of the China Document classification; It is very important for us to get hold of metallurgical technologies accurately. References are necessary when unconversant concepts appear. Classification is a process which should be corrected constantly until a perfect result has been got.
