摘  要:从类固醇雌激素性质与危害人手,分析了不同地区污水处理厂与河流中类固醇雌激素的污染现状,综述了类固醇雌激素生物降解及其主要影响因素,并对今后的相关研究方向进行了展望。The present paper is aimed to make a detailed review of the advances in the research of the pollution and biodegradation of steroid estrogens in sewage treatment. As a matter of fact, the pres- ence of estrogenic compounds in the environment has become a major world-wide growing concern, while the steroid estrogens estrone (El), 17- estradiol (E2), estriol (E3) and 17a-ethinylestradiol (EE2) exhibit the highest estrogenic activity. Steroid estrogens, as we know, are able to produce endocrine disruption in living organisms at nanogram-per-liter levels ( e. g. 17a-ethinylestradiol ( EE2 ) with 0.1 ng/L having estrogen activity for aquatic creatures). In both hu- mans and animals, steroid estrogens are excreted in urine and feces, and then penetrate into the water environment mainly through dis- charge from STPs. According to the investigations of hundreds of STPs and rivers, steroid estrogens can frequently be found in the effluent of STPs and water environment at the range of 0.04- 65.0 (ng/L). In STPs. however, removing the steroid estrogens from the water or soil environment depends on the type of the treating process and other dif- ferent factors, such as the sludge characteristics, hydraulic rotention time (HRT), sludge retention time (SRT) and dissolved oxygen (DO). Therefore, the rate of steroid estrogens removal may vary from 59% to 100% in STPs with different biological treatments, at the same time, the steroid estrogens could be removed via the sorption and biodegradation, with the microbial degradation being the main re- moral mechanism. A large diversity of genera related to steroid estro- gens degradation are isolated from the activated sludge in STPs, in- cluding a-Proteobacteria , β-Proteobacteria, γ-Proteobacteria , Acti- nobacteria, Firmicutes, etc. Thus, it is important to enrich the vari- ety of bacteria in biological treatment for high removal efficiencies of the compound.
