摘　　要：福建的媒介生物和宿主动物种类丰富，存在许多虫媒病的自然疫源地或流行区。在进行海峡西岸经济区建设的同时，应密切关注虫媒传染病及其传播媒介，加强监测和检疫，以保障海峡西岸经济区的可持续发展。Many kinds of medical vectors and hosts settled in Fujian Province, where many natural foci of vector-borne diseases have been discovered. In pace with the economic construction being in progress on the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits, the problems of medical vectors and vector-borne diseases should be taken seriously. The work of surveillance and quarantine of medical vectors should be strengthened in order to ensure the continued advance of the economic construction in the Western Coast of the Taiwan Straits.
